In 2012 and 2013 the GIZ started an educational program for a selection of representatives of administrations, ministries, municipalities from Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia in the different areas of biogas production (landfill, waste water treatment and classical biogas).

The objective of the program was to insure training for public and non-public actors out of the sector of the renewable energies, energy efficiency, waste management and biogas from the three named countries.

L.E.E. SÀRL was selected by GIZ to do three different training weeks (out of five weeks in total) with three different contents:

  • Bloc 2 (18th - 22nd february 2013): energetic valorization in the sector of biogas
  • Bloc 3 (15th - 20th april 2013): project development, engineering and dimensioning of biogas plants
  • Bloc 4 (17th - 20th june 2013): operation, maintenance and security on biogas plants

Additionally L.E.E. was also in charge of the organization of the visits of representative biogas projects in the area of agricultural biogas plants, waste to energy facilities and waste water treatment plants. The visits have been done in Germany Luxemburg an Belgium during 1 week.
